Home Manager Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to work as Home Managers in children's residential services. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Social Care who want to take on a leadership position and make a positive impact on the lives of children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the home according to its Statement of Purpose and ensuring a safe and caring environment. They will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team effectively.

* A qualification in Social Care or a relevant field at minimum QQI Level 7
* At least 3 years' experience working in children's residential care (2 years at a senior level)
* Flexibility to work shifts if required
* Up-to-date knowledge of legislation surrounding Residential Childcare and Safeguarding
* Experience of multi-disciplinary working with professionals in the industry
* Ability to deliver reports and meet deadlines
* Full driving licence and business insurance
* Flexible approach to meet business needs



About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a Home Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Social Care and will be able to provide leadership and guidance to a team of staff.

As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the home operates in accordance with its Statement of Purpose and that the highest standards of care are maintained. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training and supervising staff, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures.

In addition to your experience and qualifications, we are looking for someone who has excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with children and young people.
