Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a National Account Executive. This role will support the implementation and execution of account plans across all product categories, with the overriding principle to help maximise sales value, volume, and profitability.
About the Role
This field-based position requires occasional business travel across the UK, however the candidate should live within a commutable distance to Luton as there is a requirement to work from the office on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with National Account Managers to provide action plans to support profitable growth and mix increase.
- Analyze promotional activity to ensure maximum ROI and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and presentation of monthly updates, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities.
- Provide general administrative and reporting support, including Backorder reporting and sell out analysis.
- Communicate regularly with the Field Sales Team in-store, providing updates, quarterly focuses and store-level reporting where required.
- Work with the National Account Managers and Training team to develop and coordinate retailer training requirements.
- Support monthly forecasting within Integrated Business Planning sessions to maintain high forecast accuracy.
- Support the implementation of the retailer digital strategy and ongoing maintenance of promotional calendars.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of how account management and sales work would be desirable (e.g. sales or sales support role within the same industry would be a strong plus).
- Business acumen, business analysis and numerical interpretation
- IT literate (to a good level)
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to build and harness outstanding relationships internally and externally at a professional level
- Self-motivated and proactive in reaching a resolution for customers
- Able to manage workload with a certain degree of autonomy
- Able to prioritise your daily workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
