About the Role:
The Global Cybersecurity (GCS) team protects State Street and its clients from the impact of cyber-attacks against systems by understanding the risks these attacks present and mitigating them through a robust, continuously evolving, cybersecurity program and control environment.
Cyber Identity & Access Management (IAM) is one of five functions that make up GCS. IAM designs, deploys, and continually enhances security measures for the protection of State Street's information related to its assets and customers.
This IAM Senior Specialist - Customer Access SME, VP will sit in the GCS cyber office of CISO sub-function in IAM. The role is responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical expertise serving as SME in CIAM to ensure the organization's CIAM policies, standards, and technical specifications are robust and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the subject matter expert on Customer IAM related policies, standards, and technical standards.
* Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in CIAM.
* Act as a liaison between business and IT teams on CIAM matters to ensure solutions meet standards.
* Support the CIAM working group in preparing meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and reports.
* Track working group participation and document meeting minutes including any votes and action items.
* Prepare meeting results and recommendations for referral to the IAM Governance Council.
* Present CIAM related topics to business and other forums, including senior management.
* Work to implement changes directed by the IAM Governance Council.
* Supervise compilation of monthly enterprise Key Control Indicators associated with department CIAM functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies.
* Knowledge of Customer IAM processes in procedures in one or more business model
* Proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders with excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with metric creation and analysis.
* Strong knowledge of CIAM platforms and tools.
* Relevant certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in related technical and/or business field
* 8-10 years extensive experience in IAM functions or platforms
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively consult and influence stakeholders.
* Ability to perform data analysis and reporting.
