An established European technology organisation is seeking an
experienced ServiceNow Developer
to join its team. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across
CSM, ITSM, and SPM
, supporting enterprise-scale platforms and complex business processes.
The ideal candidate will be skilled at translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, enhancing platform functionality, and ensuring alignment with
ITIL best practices

, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality platform delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions
* Configure and customise ServiceNow modules including
CSM, ITSM, SPM, CMDB, Knowledge, and IT Asset Management
* Develop and maintain
client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and scheduled jobs
* Build and support integrations using
REST, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and APIs
* Create and optimise
Service Catalog items, record producers, SLAs, and form layouts
* Ensure platform governance, code quality, and adherence to ServiceNow and ITIL best practices
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and provide estimates
* Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve platform performance
* Support upgrades, patching, cloning, and general platform administration
* Participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies
and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong proficiency in
JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting
* Hands-on experience with
CSM, ITSM, and SPM
* Proven experience building integrations using
REST or IntegrationHub spokes
* Ability to develop responsive user interfaces using
Service Portal or UI Builder
* Solid understanding of
CMDB architecture, discovery, and data integrity
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
required
* Additional certifications (CAD, CIS) are advantageous
