Customer centric development: Design and build backend systems that prioritise customer success and great user experiences.Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Product, Frontend, and Machine Learning teams to design integrated solutions. Architect and implement well documented RESTful APIs that enable seamless communication and build production-ready backend services.Adaptive problem-solving: Embrace experimentation and rapid iteration, adjusting technical approaches based on real world results and evolving customer requirements.Domain modeling: Apply clean architecture and domain driven design principles to model and encapsulate business logic effectively, fostering a robust and adaptable software ecosystem.Kubernetes integration: Collaborate with our infrastructure engineers to deploy, manage, and scale backend services using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient resource utilization within a cloud-native environment.Code reviews: Take part in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring best practices are followed.Security: Contribute to the security of our platform by implementing secure coding practices and participating in security reviews.Key TechnologiesLanguages: Go, Rust, Python, TypescriptDatabases: SQL, MongoDB, RedisRequirementsA strong university degree (minimum BSc or equivalent) in computer science or software engineering.3-5 Years of experience in backend or full stack developmentExperience with a modern programming language, preferably at least one of Go, Rust, Python, TypescriptStrong English communication skills, as well as strong teamwork and collaboration skills.We OfferIntegration into a young, dynamic, and interdisciplinary team of computationally driven chemical engineers, biotechnologists, and computer scientists.
