Kildare Compensation:c. €45k basic and D.O.E Job type:Fixed Term Contract (3-6 months with scope to extend) Our client, a local success story and household name, is looking to welcome an Accounting Technician (IATI/Part-Qualified Accountant/QBE) to join their finance team. You will work alongside the Financial Controller and be involved in all aspects of the function. Key responsibilities: Assist with accounting and financial reporting, including management accounts, periodic budgets and forecasts Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet recs, ensure all supplier payments are kept up to date Responsible for bank reconciliations and assisting with monthly management accounts pack Posting monthly journals accruals/ payroll/ interest/ intercompany charges/ miscellaneous Value Added Tax (VAT) declaration with the support and guidance of the financial controller Ad hoc duties as required Key Skills: Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent (Accounting Technician ATI, Qualified by Experience QBE) Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant finance function Proficient in MS Office and excel Excellent communication and organisational skills Attention to detail and capable to work on own initiative
