Program Overview
Suretank is the leading provider of modular and tank solutions for global infrastructure, pharma, marine and energy companies, and has announced the expansion of its bursary programme. The Tom Moody Programme for Engineering Talent is designed to provide financial support, mentorship, paid work placement, and summer work to students pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Architectural Technology at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT).
Qualifying Criteria
Must already be a student at DKIT (None negotiable).
Must be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Architectural Technology.
Must be a level 7 student aspiring to advance to level 8 studies, or already a level 8 student.
Must achieve Merit or higher on the first‑round exams of the second year; repeat exams in second year will not be eligible.
Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms: The bursary amount is €2,000.00, paid annually in two equal instalments in October and January.
Yearly Completion: The scholarship is contingent upon successful completion of each academic year.
Grade Continuity: Student must maintain a grade of Merit or higher throughout the course.
Course Work Placement: Student must complete a work placement element of the course with Suretank.
Course Continuity: Student must remain in the same course of study.
Promotional Activity: Agreement to participate in promotional activities as required.
