The Role
A leading international legal and financial services practice is seeking an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Funds and Investment Management team. This is a senior knowledge-focused role supporting fee earners, enhancing technical excellence, and driving best-in-class knowledge management across a high-performing practice.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, maintain and develop legal precedents, practice notes, templates and know-how materials for the funds practice
Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments impacting funds and investment management and translate these into practical guidance
Prepare internal briefings, legal updates and client-facing insights
Design and deliver internal training sessions and support external client seminars and webinars
Work closely with partners and associates to improve consistency, efficiency and quality of legal output
Support business development initiatives, thought leadership and knowledge-driven marketing projects
Promote and embed knowledge management systems and best practices across the team
Candidate Profile
Qualified solicitor with approximately 5+ years' PQE, ideally in funds or investment management
Strong technical knowledge and excellent legal drafting skills
Prior experience in a PSL or knowledge role is beneficial but not essential
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and an interest in knowledge development
Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and practically
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced and international environment
