Job Summary:
Award-winning convenience store seeks a confident and self-motivated Duty Manager to lead by example, provide excellent customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and motivate staff, delegating duties when necessary.
* Implement company operating standards daily.
* Provide consistent management presence during busy periods, taking a hands-on approach.
* Promptly resolve customer complaints and report incidents in the handover diary.
* Ensure tills have sufficient change and comply with cash holding policies.
* Process coin orders and oversee till reconciliation.
* Balance supervisor safe daily and conduct regular site walks.
* Report equipment issues, including coffee machines, ovens, fridges, leaks, spillages, and damages.
* Enforce dress code and ensure staff take required breaks.
* Maintain vigilance on potential stock theft and adherence to regulations and legislation.
Requirements:
