Post Summary: The Mechanical Services Coordinator is part of the Technical Services Team within the Estates & Facilities Department, which provides a service, all year, 24/7.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role focuses on managing and maintaining mechanical infrastructural systems across the University estate, such as boiler systems, water systems, gas detection, primary and secondary heating infrastructure, legionella & water control, steam and fire suppression systems, note this list is not exhaustive.
The role ensures compliance with statutory safety regulations, improving efficiency, and delivering quality services throughout the campus.
Post status: Permanent Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€58,415 - €68,639 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
