Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage our supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and improve purchasing processes. This is a Full-Time position based on-site in County Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records.
* Process sales team stock orders efficiently.
* Track and manage shop stock levels based on demand and minimums.
* Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
* Coordinate supplier-led promotions.
* Partner with marketing on customer promotions and campaigns.
* Meet suppliers regularly to build strategies.
* Travel for supplier meetings, trade shows, and training.
* Review monthly reports on outstanding purchase orders.
* Identify and act on purchasing opportunities.
Requirements:
* 2 years purchasing experience preferred.
* Strong math and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
* Able to multitask in fast-paced settings.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
* High attention to detail for accurate work.
* Effective planning and organizational skills.
