What You Will Be Doing
* New business sales, adjustments, and renewals of contracts of insurance.
* Responsible for service and retention of business and the acquisition of new clients, and the overall growth of the business.
* Delivery on agreed targets for new business and retention through the use of selling and retention skills.
* Execution of policy amendments in an efficient manner ensuring that all aspects of service meet customer expectations.
* Optimizing opportunities for cross-selling to generate referrals while engaging with customers to maximize business growth opportunities within other channels/business units.
* Handling a requisite volume of calls efficiently ensuring that the call answering objectives are achieved for both the customer and organization.
* Leveraging your awareness of the insurance market principles and practices and providing high levels of customer care and service, providing professional quality advice.
* Additional duties as assigned.
What You Need To Apply
* APA Qualified, and working toward your CIP qualification.
* Previous experience (Minimum 3 years +) in Commercial Insurance product lines and Commercial sales is preferred.
* Experienced in bringing in new business as well as maintaining existing business.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work flexibly with other team members.
* Awareness of the insurance market principles and practices.
* Have a proactive, energetic approach and positive outlook.
