Motor Mechanic Colton Motors Mullingar Colton Motors is currently looking to recruit an experienced Motor Mechanicto join our talented team at our Mullingarlocation. 40-hour working week (Monday Friday) Job Purpose To service, repair and maintain the range ofFord and SEATvehicles in line with manufacturer standards, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and workmanship. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to the highest standards, using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques. Identify vehicle faults and communicate clearly with the Service Advisor and customers when required. Keep up to date with the latest technology and service procedures for Ford and SEAT vehicles. Work safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation. Carry out quality checks, including road testing vehicles after work has been completed. Complete all necessary service and repair documentation accurately and on time (job cards, service reports, PDIs, warranty documentation, etc.). Support and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors when dealing with complex or unusual repairs. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be aqualified Motor Mechanicwith relevant certification (e.g., QQI / City & Guilds / equivalent). Have experience working withFord and/or SEAT vehicles(preferred but not essential). Be confident using diagnostic tools and equipment. Work efficiently with excellent attention to detail. Be a strong team player with good communication skills. Be computer literate (experience withKerridge / CDKis an advantage). Hold afull, clean driving licence.
