About the Role We're seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Temporary Receptionist/Administrator (4 to 6 weeks) to oversee our client's front desk and support the wider office with day-to-day administrative duties.
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring the workplace runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Visitor Experience Welcoming Guests: Greet visitors with warmth, understand the purpose of their visit, and alert the relevant team members.
Telephone Management: Handle incoming calls by answering, screening, and directing them appropriately, offering basic information when required.
Administrative Support Mail & Deliveries: Manage incoming post and packages, distribute them promptly, and organise outgoing mail or courier shipments.
Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee meeting room calendars and assist with booking appointments or arranging travel for staff.
Stock Control: Keep an eye on office and kitchen supplies, replenishing items as needed to ensure everything is well stocked.
Office Upkeep Maintain a clean, organised reception area and ensure shared spaces such as breakrooms and meeting rooms remain tidy.
