We are seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to oversee our dedicated team in providing high-quality care and support for older adults.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the centre, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where service users can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Lead, motivate, and supervise staff and volunteers to deliver person-centred care and engaging activities.
Develop and oversee programmes that promote wellbeing, dignity, independence, and social inclusion.
Build strong relationships with service users, families, carers, and local community partners.
Monitor and evaluate service quality, implementing improvements where required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is not only an excellent manager but also a compassionate leader with a genuine passion for elderly care.
The ideal candidate will have:
* QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support / Health Service Skills, Management, or equivalent qualification.
* Significant experience in a health and social care setting, ideally working with older adults.
* Previous supervisory or management experience.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, and person-centred care.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Financial acumen and ability to manage resources effectively.
Desirable Skills
- First Aid and Safeguarding training.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies (HSE).
- Track record of service development and community engagement.
