Production Planning and Logistics Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacity. This involves analysing customer orders, sales projections, and manufacturing capabilities to create detailed production plans that outline the sequence and timing of production activities.
* Analyse production requirements, material availability, and logistics considerations to optimize production planning. Identify potential constraints (including transportation) to adjust the production schedule accordingly.
* Schedule production activities to ensure smooth flow of materials, efficient resource utilization, timely order fulfilment.
A critical aspect of this role is ensuring adherence to quality standards while minimizing costs through effective process optimization strategies.
