Role Overview:
The Purchasing Manager will plays a key role in managing a company's procurement strategy and ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services for live projects. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating an organization's purchasing activities. This role ensures the timely procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices while managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and supporting operational goals. They will work closely with the procurement team and accounts departments, to ensure the smooth transition of all purchase orders from initial request for goods through to ordering and final stages of invoicing.

What You'll be Doing
Lead and mentor the purchasing team, ensuring training, guidance, and performance monitoring while promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategic sourcing and supplier management plans, including forecasting requirements, evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and maintaining key relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance. Manage procurement budgets, analyse spending trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Oversee purchase order processes, internal material tracking, and coordination with departments to meet project schedules. Drive process improvements, implement robust procedures, utilise ERP systems for tracking and reporting, and ensure consistent, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
