Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fitness Operations Coordinator to assist in the management of day-to-day operations of our busy fitness club.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Club Manager in the general running of all aspects of the club, with a focus on sales, member experience, staff and contractors, and health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial and sales background, as well as knowledge of the fitness industry. They will be able to drive sales through local community and corporate outreach, assist in marketing management to drive membership growth, and oversee daily operations to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving sales through local community and corporate outreach
* Assisting in marketing management to drive membership growth
* Overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
* Managing inventory levels, merchandising displays, and product promotions to maximize sales opportunities
* Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
* Maintaining effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment
* Implementing time management strategies to enhance productivity within the team
* Conducting administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records accurately
* Upholding high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with customers and suppliers
* Maintaining gym standards (cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S etc)
* Social media and club management reporting
Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a sales environment
* Level 2 Gym Instructor Certification (preferred)
* First Aid Certificate
* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* A proven ability to hit targets
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
* Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions
* Proficient in merchandising techniques and retail strategies to drive sales performance
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
* Previous administrative experience is preferred, showcasing attention to detail in record keeping
