Director of Data Privacy
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our data privacy initiatives. The Director of Data Privacy will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with data protection legislation across all offices.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support Data Protection Representatives: provide guidance, assistance, and act as an escalation point for JTC jurisdictions.
* Facilitate Internal Breach Reporting: advise on risk assessment, facilitate effective internal breach reporting workflow, and liaise with stakeholders.
* Oversee Subject Access Requests: work with the DPGO to ensure compliance with local data protection law requirements and review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to mitigate risks.
* Provide Expert Advice: offer guidance to Data Protection Representatives on compliance with Data Privacy Policies and Procedures, oversee updates to Records of Processing Activity, and manage DPR Toolkit development.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of data protection laws, and experience in managing teams. Additional responsibilities include contract review, M&A integration project assistance, and general support to group functions.
