Leadership Opportunity in a Culinary Environment
The role of a sous chef is crucial to the success of our kitchen operations. This position requires someone with strong leadership, communication and organizational skills who can work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the head chef in menu planning and daily preparation.
* Maintain high standards for food quality consistency and presentation.
* E nsure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
* SUPervise junior kitchen staff members at all times while they are on duty.
Taking charge when necessary is an important aspect of this job so that tasks are executed efficiently without any major issues arising from understaffing or equipment breakdowns. We require applicants to have prior experience working as either a sous chef or head chef preferably within casual dining settings where they can use their expertise freely during peak hours (morning & weekend brunch).
