Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance and Fleet Manager to join the Linehaul and Central Operations Teams. This role requires a strong background in fleet management and motor insurance, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all company fleet and insurance activities, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
* Liaise with claims handlers to progress claims efficiently and effectively.
* Develop and maintain best practices for insurance claims handling and accident reporting.
* Provide expert advice on fleet management and insurance issues, proactively managing risk and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Analyze telematics data to produce professional reports, presenting results internally and externally.
* Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the current role.
* Manage training for drivers, oversee audits, and conduct regular review meetings.
* Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination on fleet management and insurance matters.
Requirements
* Fleet management and motor insurance experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, numerical, analytical, and presentation skills.
* Able to use Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level as a minimum.
