The role is senior, client-facing, requires the ability to inspire confidence throughout all phases of project execution and will provide the right candidate opportunities to grow within our leadership team. We are seeking candidates with significant experience of large-scale technically complex projects and the management of large multi-disciplinary project teams in various locations throughout Europe.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPreconstructionLead the proposals team including internal team members and external consultants as necessaryLead the Development the overall project delivery strategy in conjunction with the relevant project stakeholdersDevelop the Procurement strategy with the Commercial teamPrepare a preliminary project Risk Register and mitigate/manage any risks for the duration of the projectDevelop overall Project Execution plan including all H&S, Design, Procurement, Project Controls, Logistics, Temporary works, Constructability, Quality & TurnoverAdvise statutory authorities & key stakeholders of site start dateAgree employee resource plan with the Regional DirectorResponsible for setting the design strategy, including BIM, DRM, and scope of novated services (If part of project scope)Construction & DesignManages, through others, consultant and subcontractor design as required by the contract including delivery of the BIM strategyManage S/C including S/C progress meetings and S/C pre-order meetingsManage project resourcingDetailed understanding of the critical path(s) on the projectManage information flow and information required schedulesPrepare contract reports, Manage Project Controls in accordance with PEPReview constructability and identify methods of execution with commercial or programme advantage where possibleMonitor overall site progress against programme (PEP). Agree programmes with subcontractors and monitor progress with the SMManage and control the operating budget + weekly/monthly progress reports for both internal and external stakeholdersImplement the Quality Cycle through package delivery teamsTake the principal responsibility for driving the HSEQS plan on projects, including driving the full Quality Program for the projectPresent status to Sisk Management at Monthly CVR / CRM MeetingsImplement BIM Strategy on the project / Oversee the management of design including Temporary Works as appropriateObtain a punctual Practical Completion CertificatePost ConstructionEnsure aftercare service is in place for the clientEnsure any post-handover commissioning adjustments are madeSupport the commercial team in the preparation of any loss and expense applications and in the provision of information for Final AccountsComplete the project data sheet and gather reference from the clientProtect Sisk’s contractual position by ensuring that the Client & design teams are satisfied and that there is a strong relationship with future potential in placeObtain the defects list and remedy any items to obtain the Certificate of Making Good Defects. Timely engagement with clientOtherLead the PDP process for all project team members and emphasise the importance of development & continuous improvement/learningExperienceExperienceGood working knowledge of Design and Build JCT and NEC3 contracts as well as with BREEAM/LEEDTypically, 7 years’ MEP experience working in the relevant sector or a minimum of 2-3 projects delivered across different industry sectorsDemonstrable holistic ‘end to end’ Programme Management experienceCommercial awarenessPeople & PerformanceManagement skillsTeam Building and LeadershipQualificationsQualificationsAcademic and or Professional qualification in construction related subject.
