Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and technically strong Building Surveyor (Registered or Chartered) to join our team in Drogheda. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified surveyor looking to play a pivotal role in a dynamic and expanding company. The successful candidate will be entrusted with leading a wide range of client instructions and will also be expected to contribute to the company’s strategic direction, particularly in the areas of digital innovation and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage client-facing projects, including:
* Pre-acquisition and pre-purchase inspections (Private and AHB)
* Snagging and de-snagging of new-build units (Private and AHB)
* Building condition surveys and maintenance planning
* Development feasibility assessments
* Building defect diagnosis and reporting
* Planning Permissions
* Certificates of Compliance
* Refurbishment design and project management
* Fire alarm and life safety system inspections
* Dilapidation reports and leasehold advice
* Deliver clear, professional, and technically accurate reports
* Use and contribute to the development of IT systems and reporting tools
* Maintain and promote compliance with current Irish Building Regulations, housing standards, and relevant codes of practice
* Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and consultants in a professional and proactive manner
* Oversee contract management and administration for small works and remedial projects
* Contribute to mentoring junior staff and strengthening team capability
Key Attributes & Qualifications
* Registered or Chartered Building Surveyor (SCSI/RICS or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential building surveying
* Strong IT literacy including data management, cloud-based reporting systems, and digital inspection tools
* Excellent technical report writing skills, with clarity and attention to detail
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Experience working with AHBs, housing bodies, or social housing is a distinct advantage
* Full clean driving licence and own transport required
