Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Steel Construction Fitter on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in steel construction, producing high-quality parts and components to meet production and shipping demands.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of engineering drawings, be able to produce parts efficiently, and adhere to company welding procedures and specifications. Key responsibilities include working with large parts and equipment, using oxygen and acetylene cutting and heating equipment, removing defective welds, cleaning and dressing welds, and lifting and moving components.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Fitter qualification, at least 2 years' experience, and the ability to work at heights. You must also be available to work shift patterns including early starts and late finishes.
