The Role / Location About Liffey Valley Shopping Centre Liffey Valley is one of Ireland's premier retail and leisure destinations, offering a dynamic mix of fashion, dining, and entertainment experiences.
With exciting future plans for the Centre, we are seeking to add an enthusiastic and strategic person to our team, to lead the Marketing, Customer Experience, Community and Public Relations aspects of the business.
The Role The person appointed will report to and work closely with the Centre Director and Management team to develop and execute a marketing strategy that reflects the evolving needs of our customers, tenants, and the local community.
This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering marketing campaigns, brand activation, and stakeholder collaboration which contribute to the continued success of the Shopping Centre and its retailers.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Work in partnership with the Centre Director and Managing Director of Marketing to define and implement the marketing vision for the Centre.
Contribute to long-term positioning, brand identity, and the evolution of the Centre's role in the local and regional market.
Collaborate with external B2B agencies to deliver strategic campaigns that align with commercial objectives and brand positioning.
Lead research and market analysis Tenant Stakeholder Engagement Act as the marketing liaison for retailers, supporting retailer initiatives, in-Centre promotions, and partnership opportunities.
Build strong relationships with all stakeholders including retailers, local partners and the wider community.
Work closely with the customer service team to deliver occupier engagement and visitor satisfaction.
Campaign Event Management Lead the development and execution of annual marketing campaigns and the events calendar to drive footfall and dwell time.
Oversee on-site events, seasonal activations, and experiential marketing activities, delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
Agency Supplier Management Manage all external agencies including PR, media buying, creative, and events partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable results.
Oversee budget management, performance tracking, and ROI reporting across all marketing activities.
Digital Insight Management Lead the use of digital platforms, including the Centre website, social media, and the Savills Insight App, to deliver best in class communication, data insights, and tenant engagement.
Utilise data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure marketing effectiveness.
Customer Experience Service Desk Management Manage the customer service desk team, ensuring best in class service standards and alignment with Centre values.
Foster collaboration between marketing, operations, and customer service to deliver a seamless visitor experience.
ESG, Community Charity Engagement Support the Centre's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
Manage community and charity partnerships, coordinating fundraising, volunteering, and local outreach activities.
Champion initiatives that promote social impact, inclusion, and environmental awareness within the Centre's operations.
Gift Card Programme Manage and promote the Centre's Gift Card service, driving sales and awareness through integrated campaigns and retailer engagement.
Duty Management Operations Act as Duty Manager on a rotational basis, taking full responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the Centre during weekends and key periods.
Work closely with the Operations Manager on performance monitoring and customer service delivery improvements.
Person Specifications About You A creative and commercially minded marketing professional with experience in retail, leisure, or destination marketing.
Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, digital engagement, and stakeholder communications.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing people and cross-functional teams.
Passionate about sustainability, community engagement, and customer experience.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, on-site environment.
Relevant qualifications in marketing, digital marketing, or event management.
