Business Development Lead
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead our hotel's business development strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the Irish hotel industry, specifically within a busy 4-star property.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the team.
* Design and implement effective brand and sales strategies for the property.
* Analyze and identify new markets in line with the overall hotel sales strategy.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to the team on selling techniques and monitor their performance.
* Collaborate with senior management to optimize hotel bookings and availability.
* Participate in revenue meetings as required.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts for the department.
* Develop and implement goals and strategies for the department.
* Foster strong relationships with key accounts.
* Sell hotel rooms, conference facilities, food and beverage services, and other hospitality offerings.
* Maintain accurate sales reports and data from the Sales and Marketing team.
* Oversee public marketing activities for the hotel.
* Manage and produce marketing materials.
* Develop social media strategies to support marketing and sales efforts.
* Plan and execute on-site promotional activities.
Requirements:
