Access Control Sales Engineer
Lock Doctor are Ireland's largest locksmith and physical security provider. As part of our expansion, we are expanding our Access Control division and are seeking an experienced Access Control Sales Engineer.
This role suits a technically competent sales professional who can confidently sell, design, and scope access control systems for commercial and multi-unit residential clients.
The Role
Generate and develop new access control business
Meet clients, assess requirements, and propose appropriate systems
Carry out site surveys and system design
Specify controllers, readers, credentials, and locking solutions
Manage the sales process from enquiry to handover
Work closely with installers and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
Essential Requirements
5+ years' experience in access control sales and system design
Strong technical knowledge of access control systems
Experience conducting site surveys and producing scopes of work
Understanding of door hardware and locking systems
Commercial awareness and ability to price work accurately
Full clean driving licence
Desirable
Experience with cloud-based access control platforms
Background in locksmithing, doors, or physical security
Experience working with subcontract installation teams
Knowledge of related systems (intercoms / CCTV)
