The Role
On behalf of our client, a leading water treatment specialist, we are recruiting a
Senior Water Treatment Engineer
to manage
key client accounts
within a facilities Management environment. This is a
client-facing role
combining hands-on technical delivery with reporting, advisory, and account ownership responsibilities across multiple sites nationwide.
The successful candidate will act as a
trusted technical advisor
, working directly with clients, providing recommendations, and supporting compliance, performance, and contract retention.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the
primary technical contact
for assigned FM client accounts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and site teams
* Carry out water treatment testing across boiler, RO/Demin, condensate, closed and process systems
* Oversee WTP operations and SWAS checks
* Analyse results and provide
clear reports and improvement recommendations
* Identify risks, non-conformances, and corrective actions with close-out plans
* Liaise with FM teams on technical issues and system improvements
* Manage chemical handling, stock control, and ordering
* Ensure environmental and discharge compliance
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in water treatment
* Proven client-facing or account management experience
* Strong background in boiler water and closed systems treatment
* Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
* Full clean driving licence
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
Desirable:
* Facilities Management or multi-site contract experience
* Experience in industrial, healthcare, pharma, or power environments
