Job Description
The post holder will be responsible for the education and development of nursing staff by means of in-service training orientation of new staff and arranging clinical experience and supervision of the nursing team.
* Provide orientation and supervision for new nursing staff ensuring they are aware of the policies and procedures to be followed.
* Identify training needs of the nursing Health Care Assistant team whilst providing guidance and support where necessary.
* Encourage evidence based practice using a care planning approach to nursing care.
