Credit Manager (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the credit team, ensuring adequate training and coaching.
2. Make credit line decisions and manage customer accounts in line with SLA's.
3. Handle customer queries and escalations effectively.
4. Agree on customer payment plans and liaise with DCA's and legal counsel as needed.
5. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
6. Represent the company in industry bodies and attend relevant meetings.
7. Review accounts periodically with credit controllers and sales management.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Manage the debtors ledger efficiently.
2. Maintain high performance levels in accordance with company KPIs.
3. Set and review customer credit terms and limits.
4. Ensure all customer records are accurate and transactions processed daily.
5. Ensure SOX compliance at all times.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years credit experience, preferably within the food services sector.
* At least 2 years of strong people management experience.
* Understanding of debt ledgers and negotiation skills.
* Relevant qualifications and knowledge of SOX compliance are advantageous.
* Valid class B driver’s license and flexibility to travel.
