**Job Summary:**
An Operations Manager is required to lead the daily activities of site production and manage colleagues across production lines in line with strategic goals.
* Lead and manage site staff, ensuring efficient daily production and dispatch processes.
* Implement production plans set by the Director.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Maintain close attention to detail for manufacturing based on customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the site, including leading a team of production staff and implementing production plans as set by the Director. They will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and maintaining close attention to detail to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in production management roles, ideally from automation, precision manufacturing, electronics or medical device industries.
* Strong people management experience.
* Track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.
* Understanding of manufacturing to strict customer requirements and deadlines.
* Proven planning and budgeting skills.
