The Company:
A growing FMCG food distribution business supplying frozen, chilled, and ambient products nationwide is seeking a Management Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller across finance, reporting, and day-to-day commercial activities.
This is a hands-on industry role, ideal for a part-qualified or finalist accountant who is looking for broad exposure in a fast-paced business and clear progression to a senior finance position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and support weekly and monthly management accounts
* Analyse margins, pricing, product costs and customer profitability
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
* Produce dashboards, KPIs and management reporting
* Support credit control, debtor reporting and cash collection
* Assist with order processing, pricing setup and customer account maintenance
* Liaise with sales, customer service and warehouse teams
* Support stock analysis, supplier cost reviews and purchase pricing
* Assist with month-end reconciliations and financial controls
* Work with finance systems including Intact IQ (beneficial, not essential)
* Provide commercial and operational support to the Financial Controller
Your Experience
* Part-qualified or finalist (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
* 2–5 years' experience in industry or practice
* Comfortable in a broad, all-round finance role
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Practical, organised and proactive
* FMCG, wholesale or distribution experience an advantage
