We are partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company operating at the forefront of data governance and compliance. With a strong enterprise customer base and significant recent investment, the organisation is scaling its commercial team and hiring a Sales Engineer to support complex, high-value deals.
This is a strategic, customer-facing role where you’ll act as the technical bridge between product, sales, and enterprise clients—helping organisations navigate sophisticated data and architecture challenges.
The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role throughout the full sales lifecycle, partnering closely with Account Executives to win enterprise business. You’ll engage directly with senior stakeholders across engineering, data, and legal functions, delivering technical expertise that drives confident buying decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical sales cycle from initial discovery through to proof-of-concept and deal closure
Partner with Account Executives and SDRs to support enterprise pipeline and revenue targets
Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and architecture sessions
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and value propositions
Support customers through evaluations, integrations, and solution design
Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap and innovation
Build credibility as a trusted advisor with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience Required
4+ years’ experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales role
Strong understanding of enterprise software, APIs, and data ecosystems
Experience working with developers, data teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders in enterprise environments
Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences
Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern architectures
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability
