We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Working Farm Managerto oversee and manage our fully housed beef finishing unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about modern farming and livestock performance.
About The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our beef enterprise, which is run on a zero-grazing systemwith a strong focus on animal welfare and productivity. Live weight gains are continuously monitored, and attention to cleanliness and health is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily management of beef cattle in a fully housed system
* Execution of feeding operations using zero-grazing equipment
* Monitoring of live weight gains and animal performance
* Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and welfare practices
* Basic animal health checks and reporting any issues promptly
* General farm duties, machinery operation, and tractor driving
* Coordination with the wider Grass Technology team and advisors
Requirements
* Proven experienceworking with livestock, ideally in a housed beef system
* Strong attention to welfare, cleanliness, and detail
* Competent tractor and machinery operator
* Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
* Willingness to learn and embrace technology-driven farming systems
* Working visarequired for non-European applicants
