We're delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Support Pharmacist to join a community-focused pharmacy in Athenry, Co. Galway.
What you need to know:
This is a permanent, part-time position, working Mondays and Tuesdays (9am–6pm). The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system, and an attractive salary package is on offer for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing:
* Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with pharmacy and PSI guidelines.
* Ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
* Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty and trust.
* Maintain appropriate stock levels, ensuring correct storage and monitoring of dated products.
* Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
* Communicate effectively with patients, customers, and the wider pharmacy team.
What we desire:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with regular customers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and good time management.
What we require:
* Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
* At least 2 years of Irish pharmacy experience, ideally in a busy dispensary.
* A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care and customer service.
