Job Description & Summary
In our Business Enablement Solutions department, the Tech Central team empowers our core business functions by delivering innovative, flexible and secure IT services that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. We are looking for an associate to join our Development Services in the areas of automation and development. In this role you will work with a dynamic team of data engineers, developers and reporting & analytics specialists. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and people skills.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with client engagement teams to deliver automation and data & analytics services.
Provide 2nd/3rd level support for the department’s standard applications and manage service level agreements for the core service.
Help identify appropriate technology solutions and design, develop and implement those solutions.
Support the line of service technology and transformation teams dedicated market offerings as appropriate.
Be involved in technical discussions and projects supporting management.
Design, develop and implement innovative solutions using agile software development methodologies.
Ensure quality processes and solution design documents are produced.
Adhere to software development lifecycle on Azure DevOps.
Work with client teams to deliver and manage IT/process projects/automation projects.
Support engagement teams in use of technologies to improve efficiencies.
Propose, define and document reusable solutions and fixes.
Support and test new/upgrades software.
Create statistics on usage of various applications.
Document technical and risk documentation and procedures for incident resolution.
Scope / Overall Summary of Role & Responsibilities
Work with client teams to deliver and manage IT/process projects/automation projects, support engagement teams’ use of technologies, liaise with management to help PwC’s central IT teams deliver value‑added services, support and report directly to management.
Education and Professional Qualifications
Candidates should have a third level qualification (Hons) in an IT related discipline.

Experience and Technical Skills Required
Strong understanding of coding concepts and demonstrable experience with at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript).
Understanding/experience with designing and implementing solutions.
Good understanding and experience of automation.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
Data analysis skills.
Basic security understanding with regards to access control management and data management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
