Quality Technician Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Limerick.
This role will ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the product lifecycle and provide expert QA support to Operations, ensuring operational goals and objectives are achieved for the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Subject Matter Expertise: Be a subject matter expert with regard to acceptable quality standards for products and processes.
* Regulatory Compliance: Evaluate regulatory compliance in area to cGMP's of all medical device regulatory agencies (e.g. FDA and TUV).
* Daily Support: Represent QA as the first point of contact for daily line support issues.
* Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot product and process-related issues and identify root cause.
* Error Reduction: Work with QE's and product teams to identify areas for risk reduction and error-proofing processes and work on implementation of these.
* Defect Awareness: Drive defect awareness training with product builders with the assistance of the manufacturing trainer.
* Disposition: Provide input into the disposition for any non-conforming product and identify appropriate corrective action with other support team members.
* Internal Audits: Perform internal quality audits.
* Quality Metrics: Trending and analysis of key Quality metrics.
* Customer Complaints: Responsible for the timely analysis of customer complaints to acceptable Quality Standards supporting Divisional and Operational goals and objectives.
* Investigation: Complete investigation and analysis of customer complaints.
* Complaint Recording: Maintain systems for the receipt and recording of customer complaints.
* Reporting: Assist in the preparation of periodic reports.
* Lab Maintenance: Maintain biohazard laboratory.
* All Other Duties: All other duties as assigned.
