Project Leader
* Oversee all retail projects from conception to successful implementation.
* Translate business strategy into actionable project plans that deliver value to the organization.
* Collaborate with senior executives to identify opportunities and develop a pipeline of initiatives to drive growth.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, forecasts, manage project outcomes and scope, resolve cross-functional issues and change control.
* Coordinate project teams in line with established plans.
* Work with stakeholders to identify additional innovative opportunities to transform operations, elicit high-level strategic plans, build a pipeline, secure funding, and deliver identified strategic initiatives.
* Understand and deliver on customer needs, collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are documented and agreed.
* Work with external vendors to deliver technical solutions, including RFPs, solution architecture, development, testing, and implementation.
* Develop quality assurance plans to ensure delivery meets expectations.
* Manage migration from a business readiness perspective, ensure solutions are migrated accordingly, users are trained as needed, operational support plans are in place, and the business is ready for launch.
* Effectively control risks and issues, manage dependencies within your workstream and as part of the wider transformation program as required, escalating issues to senior stakeholders as necessary.
* Monitor project progress and performance, budget tracking, governance, and reporting at a project level.
* Contribute to program-level activities such as cross-workstream dependency management, governance, quality assurance, delivery frameworks, and communities of practice.
You Must Have:
* Degree in Commerce, IT, or a related field and a PMP or Prince2 certification.
* 10+ years delivering complex commercial and technology projects in large-scale retail/consumer goods/supply chain & distribution environments.
* Substantial commercial acumen with experience managing vendors and system integrators.
* Experience at a strategy level, able to work with senior executives to develop a backlog of projects and initiatives.
* Broad exposure to change management and business readiness techniques.
* Working knowledge of enterprise platforms, comfortable delivering bespoke digital technology and integration as well as working with an SI to implement off-the-shelf platforms.
* Experience in some or all of: Mergers & Acquisitions, business restructuring, eCommerce, Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management systems, EPOS, mobile apps, software development.
Benefits: €625 per day. 6 months, Hybrid in West Dublin.
