Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Engineer to design, develop, program, test, and maintain automation systems for high-speed medical device filling and packaging lines.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to leverage their expertise in automation and controls engineering to deliver equipment projects, working closely with operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and external equipment vendors.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop automation systems for high-speed medical device filling and packaging lines.
* Work with operations and Engineering teams to deliver equipment projects, from development of user requirements specifications through to equipment validation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in automation and controls engineering in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated food/beverage).
* Proven experience with PLC programming and HMI development for complex machinery.
* Strong understanding of servo motion control, robotics, and machine vision systems.
* Experience in development of user requirements specifications.
* Experience with validation methodologies (IQ, OQ, PQ) in a GMP environment.
