Overview of the Role
Based in our Portarlington, Co.
Offaly dealership and reporting directly to the After Sales Manager, the Service Advisor combines front desk reception duties with service coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for customers from arrival to vehicle handover.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not restricted to the following:
Reception & Customer Service
Welcome customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
Answer phone calls and emails promptly, managing enquiries and bookings.
Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
Service Coordination
Schedule service appointments and manage the booking calendar.
Prepare job cards and liaise with technicians to ensure accurate work orders.
Communicate service updates and timelines to customers.
Administration & Sales
Process invoices and handle payments.
Advise customers on additional services, warranties, and maintenance packages.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service, automotive service, or front desk reception.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Computer literacy (booking systems, invoicing software).
Professional appearance and demeanour.
Full clean drivers' licence.
