This pivotal role ensures best in class Health & Safety, customer service excellence, operational efficiency and consistency while supporting our broader supply chain and organisational goals.The Person:The Warehouse Manager should be a proactive and dependable individual with strong leadership qualities and a hands-on approach to operations. They must be a highly organised leader, capable of managing multiple priorities across different sites, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal person thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly with teams and stakeholders, and consistently seeks ways to improve processes. They should be calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and able to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Uphold the company values at all times.Site Leadership: Oversee daily performance across two busy warehouses.Team Management: Work with warehouse managers and supervisors to lead, train and develop warehouse staff leading to long-term interoperability and resilience across both sites. Strong performance management.Health & Safety: Compliance with and enforcement of legal and company safety standards. Seeking to continuously improve standards.Inventory Control: Ensure inventory integrity, stock accuracy and minimise losses.Process Optimisation: Improve workflows and eliminate inefficiencies, includes warehouse layout and flows.Logistics Coordination: Manage timely goods-in and goods-out activities. Ensure delivery to agreed SLAs.Performance Monitoring: Use KPIs to track productivity and improve outcomes.Resource Planning: Allocate colleagues' workloads efficiently across both sites.MHE, Racking, Vehicle Equipment and Building Management: Ensure equipment is maintained and used safely and that all building maintenance works are completed to agreed schedules.
