Account Manager – Animal Health, Nutrition & Farm Inputs
As an Agri Account Manager you will be responsible for nurturing a portfolio of farmers across the South-East Ireland.
You will increase sales and provide advice on feed, fertiliser, veterinary, dairy hygiene, and other farm input requirements.
This job is a mix of out on the road, office, and hybrid.
Package: Salary up to €60k negotiable but must reflect level of experience, 5% pension contribution, 22 days holidays, company car.
The ideal candidate will have the following
* Experience in the agricultural industry
* Good local market knowledge
* A track record of sales, customer service and achieving targets
* Good technical knowledge around Animal Health
* Comfortable with Microsoft and business management software
Responsibilities for the job of Account Manager
* Respond promptly to farmer requests for technical advice
* Collaborate with the Technical Development team for specialist input
* Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance farm profitability, sustainability, and milk quality
* Offer advice to farmers based on farm performance data and current market conditions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date farm data in the CRM system, including records on milk supply ambitions, sales pipelines, opportunities, and complaints
* Process farmer orders for feed, fertiliser, veterinary, and other agricultural products efficiently
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
* Provide insights and field feedback to Technical Development and Marketing teams to support product and service innovation
* Execute marketing and promotional campaigns as directed by Marketing, informing farmers of new offers and value-added services
* Manage monthly cash collection processes in accordance with internal financial procedures
* Collaborate closely with local Branch Managers to ensure farmers receive optimal service across all channels
* Represent the business at farmer-facing events, and trade shows
* Strengthen relationships with farming clients through consistent and high-quality engagement
