Job Overview
The Utilities Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of plant utilities within our facility. This includes responsibility for clean utility systems, HVAC systems, and grey utilities such as boilers and chillers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Site SME for utilities system with overall responsibility for the compliant operation of assigned utility systems.
* Ensure all clean utility systems are running in line with regulatory requirements.
* Ensure all HVAC systems are running in line with critical area classification standards and parameters.
* Utilize Six Sigma tools to establish root causes of any issues that may arise and implement robust corrective measures.
* Responsible for ensuring that all utilities remain operational, available for use, and GxP compliant at all times.
* Setup and review of contracts with legal and QA representatives.
* Input into site utility master planning efforts to ensure utility design and capacity can meet site and business needs.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
* 8+ years of facilities engineering experience, preferably in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Strong knowledge of utilities, clean utilities, grey utilities, and HVAC systems including cleanrooms.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements, GMP standards, and audit experience.
