Our commitment to doing business the right way is rooted in our TRUE values -Trust, Respect, Unity, and Empowerment.About The Role:Location: This role is based in either Cork or Dublin.Will work as part of the facilities contract management team, on a large, semi state, multi-site contract.They will be responsible for providing health and safety support and governance to the front-line operational team, in the delivery of both facilities management and capital project delivery. The role will work as part of the QHSE Department and report directly into the Director of QHSE & Compliance.Our benefits:Free Online Do ctor Consultations via Web-doctorCompetitive SalaryContributory Pension after qualifying period21 Days Annual Leave increasing with service to 26 DaysAdditional Leave Day on your Birthday after 1 year serviceStaff Benefits/Discount ProgrammeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeTraining and Development OpportunitiesFree onsite ParkingKey Responsibilities & Requirements:ResponsibilitiesProvide support and guidance on all matters pertaining to health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, to front line operational teams, across all business lines.Provide PSDP and PSCS related support to contracts where carried out under the SHWW Construction regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of QHSE front line initiatives and activities across all business lines.Carry out regular site QHSE audits and risk assessments and document the findings for management and implement necessary corrective actions.Advising / assisting front line management in drafting and communicating Method Statements.Carry out accident investigations and ensure remedial actions are put in placeFacilitate the implementation, monitoring and review of the Company's integrated QHSE management system and assist with the development and implementation of new company QHSE procedures.Advise front line management on health, safety and environmental regulations and directives which affect the company and its employeesProvide QHSE support and advice to client companies where required.Requirements:Ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, with 4 + years' experience in a similar role.Previous experience working in construction and/or Facilities Management industries beneficial.Familiarity with regulatory compliance procedures, publications and an ability to interpret relevant legislation.Proven ability to carry out effective investigations, audits, inspections and compile reports and recommendations as appropriate.High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.Proficiency in the application of Microsoft office suite.Ambitious self-starter with the confidence and drive and take ownership of cross functional processes.Fluent in English.Flexibility required.Full clean driver's licensePositive, energetic and focused, with good organisational abilityExperienced in working autonomously and within teams in fast-paced environmentCommitted to deliver value and new initiatives to the businessCommitted to one's own personal and professional developmentHow to Apply:If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.We are an equal opportunities employer and rely on a diverse workforce with a broad range of knowledge, skills, and backgrounds to deliver our goals.
