Site Engineer Role Overview
The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of works on our Data Centre project in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform QAQC inspections to ensure finished works meet required standards and specifications.
* Manage site documentation, coordinate with contractors to submit correct documents, and facilitate smooth communication among team members.
* Liaise with sub-contractors to track progress against schedule, conduct meetings, and resolve any arising issues.
* Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, and engineering reviews to guarantee adherence to project milestones and objectives.
* Review drawings with the design team, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to ensure successful project completion.
* Monitor and snag contractor's works, manage sub-contractor activities, and maintain a safe working environment.
* Coordinate works to ensure all trades have adequate time, material, resources, and access to necessary information.
* Manage health and safety protocols, housekeeping, material storage, and permits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or relevant qualification.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Experience working on Data Centre projects is highly beneficial.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
