At PwC, our people in data and analytics engineering focus on leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. They play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.
Those in cloud and automation engineering at PwC will focus on planning, designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting cloud-based applications on proprietary products and platforms, specialising in mass customization. You will work across the complete cloud stack and have an in-depth knowledge of cloud storage and applications. Working in this area, you will interact with product and project managers and other key stakeholders to drive an optimised solution within known constraints.

As an AI - Manager

Azure
Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-native data and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities include:
* Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
* Migrate existing workloads from
on-premise
environments to Azure, making the most of cloud benefits in the transition.
* Build Azure landing zones aligne
d with Microsoft's Well Architected Framework
* Manage and
enhance
A
zure-based environments to ensure
consistent excellence
, security, and scalability.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into robust, innovative cloud solutions.
* Integrate AI and data solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems.
* Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud workloads using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps best practices.
* Advocate
operational excellence, security, and compliance in all cloud engineering processes.
* Communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with IT personnel, executives, and user communities.
* Continuously
develop
your skills and
empower
your team's development with the support of the wider PwC network.
Experiences and skills:
* BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are highly desirable.
* 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
* Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, data platforms, and automation tools.
* Proficiency
in scripting and programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
* Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong understanding of security, compliance, and operational best practices for cloud and AI workloads.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical decisions to a broad set of stakeholders.
* Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects at scale.
