Role Description
Dublin Gazette are looking for people of real calibre to become part of our advertising sales and sponsorship team. This is an exciting opportunity for people in the media industry. We are Ireland's largest free newspaper, bringing local news for more than 20 years.
This is a full-time hybrid role,
based in South County Dublin, where you will be connecting with clients and brands, developing solutions to satisfy their needs, making sales and exceeding targets.
You will be out on the road 4-days a week, managing a geographical area within Dublin.
You will be in the office 1 day a week, for meetings, setting up appointments for the week ahead and any other admin work
The role will be selling run of paper and classified advertising within the newspaper
You will have an annual sales target which will be broken into weekly and monthly targets
As a Field Sales Executive, you will manage day-to-day sales activities, including identifying and closing sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets. You will also attend meetings and report on sales performance regularly.

Qualifications
* Proven advertising sales experience, minimum 2 years
* Media industry knowledge
* Ambitious and competitive, with an understanding of the importance of meeting targets
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment meeting weekly deadlines
* Ability to sell across multiple platforms to include print, digital and social channels
* A team player who also has the independence to take on personal responsibility
* Sales skills: experience in identifying sales opportunities and closing sales deals
* Client relationship management: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication abilities
* Time management and organisational skills: ability to manage time effectively and organize tasks efficiently
* Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools an advantage
* Knowledge of South County Dublin would be an advantage
* Own car with full drivers licence
