The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and mechatronic equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
1. Installation: Install electrical systems and mechatronic equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
2. Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and mechatronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a timely manner.
4. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with electrical systems and mechatronic equipment.
Experience and Skills
* Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
* Experience with CMM and Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage.

Electrical Engineer - Mobile Bays and DC Battery Systems
Location: Cork
Role: Permanent
Large semi-state company. As an experienced engineer, you will enable the delivery and maintenance of mobile substation bays, support the safe deployment of compliant DC battery systems, and contribute to standards and repair strategies to ensure asset resilience.
Additional responsibilities include the preliminary and detailed design of the E&I content of compressor stations. You may also be involved in capital and operational projects for price control and efficiency.
