An exciting opportunity for an Operatorto join our client, aleading designer and manufacturer of electronic motor control solutionsbased in Ringaskiddy, Corkon a permanent contract.
This role will involve working a Monday-Friday week (days).
Previous experience in an Operator role or assembly experience is advantageous.
Role Responsibilities: Operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks.
Prepare components for manual assembly.
Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners.
Perform manual assembly of PCBs and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings and SOPs.
Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components.
Application of adhesives and conformal coatings.
Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required.
Perform operator machine maintenance as specified.
Role Requirements: Proven track record of commitment to both quality and production goals.
Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions would be preferable.
Detail-oriented.
