Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate nursing leader to join our organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of nursing care are delivered to residents.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the DON in implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines across all staff levels.
* Provide strategic and clinical leadership for nursing services, resulting in effective, efficient, quality-assured resident-centered care.
* Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and maintain up-to-date electronic records.
* Perform spot checks, internal audits, and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
* Respond to regulatory representatives on behalf of the DON and submit notification forms as required.
* Review and monitor complaints and incidents, preparing action plans as necessary.
* In the absence of the DON, assume the role and responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge under relevant legislation.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
* Participate in clinical management, including providing care, communicating with residents/families, managing staff, and developing policies.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years senior nursing leadership experience.
* Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body.
* Demonstrable clinical, professional, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Working knowledge of regulatory standards, procedures, and guidelines.
